Update

This may be the last "Three Supplees" update...we need to think of another name for our new addition to the family (suggestions welcome as I can't think of anything catching)!

It's been about a month since I've been on bedrest. I've been in the hospital with threatened pre-term labor 3 times, totaling about 2.5 weeks in the last month. I am on medication that is keeping me from contracting, and will discontinue the medication a week from today  (I'll be 35 weeks and 3 days at that point). I was on this same medication when all this same preterm issues with Landry. Landry was born 26 hours after I stopped the meds. So, if history repeats itself, Grady may be born middle of next week!

Being on bedrest is hard for a busy body like me, but its been even harder on my main support team who picks up the slack every day...Jeff, my Mom and my Dad. We've been showered with love, prayers and delicious food from family and friends as well. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!

Without further delay, here are some recent pictures to share. Next time, there should be some with Grady!

First time he got up on the chair himself.

He likes to stick his toung out although its not in defiance (yet).

One of Landry's visits in the hospital. After the first 5 seconds, he really didn't care too much to see me as there were too many new things to look at.

Playing outside. He was fascinated as he watched the trickle of water run ALL the way down the driveway.

Loves to play with "bubbles", which is now just the container filled with water since he dumps it out or spills it, and of course we have to refill it...several times...even when its already full... because he knows we fill the container from the garage sink so he goes to the garage sink, holds up the container and rubs his belly with excitement (rubbing belly is sign language for please). His pot belly really shows in this picture :)
Standing in the infant tub.

He's using his nebulizer (uses it when he has a cough)...this was just a funny picture, like he just took a hit off it or something.

A picture with Aunt Court.

Landry and Jeff playing.
Landry is so fond of Jeff and it has only grown more since I've been away in the hospital or laid up at home. He wants to do everything Jeff does.

Landry "winking".

Belly picture from last week (34 weeks). Its estimated Grady is about 5 lbs now, based on the last sonogram.

Update...

So, its been a while since I've posted anything...so here's some pics from the last month or so.

We took all the baby stuff down from the attic to get it cleaned up in preparation for Grady's arrival. It seems Landry remembered all the bouncers and carseats as he made sure he sat in each one, several times. It was  a little bitter sweet to see my "big boy" in the baby gear, but I'm excited to use it again for his little brother.

Now here's a bunch of random pics - captions are below each picture:

Landry LOVES to be outside ALL THE TIME. He'll take our fingers and pull us to the back door and with an excited face ask, "OUS?" (translated: can we go out side). So, we end up spending a lot of time outside and have attempted to find things to keep Landry (and ourselves) occupied since he is more than content to roam the yard all day. We got some sidewalk chalk - but its more fun for me than for Landry and only lasts about 1 minute.

Cheese head at dinner.

Landry "helping" Jeff wash his truck.

Funny faces...

Helping me dust.

Watering the plants at the lake Easter weekend (Easter pics to follow).

And then water himself.  (Sorry, I can't figure out how to make the picture upright.)

Jeff giving Landry a sink bath at the lake.

Everyone needs a koozie when at the lake!

Big Little Helper

Just within the last week or so, Landry has gone from observing to imitating...everything. These are only the ones I caught on camera as I've been too slow to catch the rest. Landry adores Jeff and wants to help him do everything. We've been setting up Landry's "big boy room" which used to be the spare bedroom. Jeff needed to hang some things without Landry trying to climb on the ladder, so we closed the door.

First, a polite knock, "Daddy...can I come back in?"...

Then a yell, "I said I want to come in and help!" (Note Jeff's fingers coming from the other side of the door - they were meant to calm, but angered more).

Vacuuming under the couch....

Putting together some furniture: First, Landry merely observed Jeff tightening the screws...then wanted to do it himself....

We were amazed how he knew exactly where to put the screwdriver and found all the other screws. Of course, he couldn't just tighten one of the screws, he had to do all of them.

But work needed to continue, and I remembered we had these plastic tools that I kept thinking he was too young for....I was wrong, and Jeff got to complete the project.

G-Paw keeps saying he can't wait until Landry is big enough to help him at the lake...he may get his wish sooner than he thought :)

Applesauce

Applesauce...that's whats all over his hair, face and clothes. Typically, he's pretty good with a spoon and only misses his mouth occasionally. This time, I guess he thought the food would get to his mouth quicker if he scooped it by hand...then played with his hair. Once the mess started, we let him go to town (then straight to the bathtub).

School Pictures

Every 6 months, Landry's day school has picture day. He just turned 1 1/2 and looks so grown up in these pictures... my little boy instead of my little baby. It hit me today just how fast he's growing up and that its not going to slow down! Here's the 3 pictures - so handsome like his daddy!

Say Cheeeeeze!

Landry got a Valentines bear from Mimi (Jeff's mom) in the mail today. Jeff opened the box while Landry was eating and he was so excited to see it, we let him have it while he was eating. He held tightly to it with one arm while shoveling food into his mouth with his free hand. Landry recognizes a camera now and knows how to perform when we say "cheeeeze!"....

And then a BIG LONG kiss for his new bear....

We wer also told today that he is already kissing girls in his room at daycare...supposedly he made his moves on the same girl twice today. He also got bit on his arm....perhaps by the girl as her response, or maybe a fellow buddy in the class that laid eyes on her first? We don't know who did it, but it looks like we'll have our hands full with a ladies man!

It's a boy!

It's a boy!

We are so excited to have another boy! Just about 4 months left! We have some ideas for a name, but nothing picked out just yet. Below is the latest sonogram. He is measuring right on target and everything they checked out looks normal.

2 quick pics...Landry's latest thing is to wear our shoes....and he's so proud of himself when he does....
