Landry will be starting day care part-time next week. In preparation for daycare, we've been trying to align Landrys daily routine with the daycare's to make the transition easier for him. Landry's first nap of the day has been at 9am and his second nap around 1pm...at the daycare, "naptime" is from 12-2:30pm. So each week the past month, we've pushed his 1st nap time back litlle by little and we've finally reached 12:00 (whew!). Some days he is SO ready for a nap but is able to make it through. But some days....

We went to my grandma's house (Rose) a few weeks ago after work for a short visit after work. Landry loves to climb on anything and everything. Since we have a 1 story home, he's never had a chance to climb up stairs. As soon as he saw them, he was up in a flash, and so proud of himself. The next few pictures illustrate (although I didn't catch it on the camera till about the 5th time).
Another tansition in preparation for daycare is going from the bottle to the sippy cup becuase no bottles are allowed for his age group. It was a little rough at first with some refusal to transition, but its been a week since he's had a bottle and now he loves the sippy cup as much as the bottle - probably since he's still drinking formula in it during meal times. Actually, that has to be what it is because he will barely drink any water from it during snack time.
